How we checked (plain words)
- Google Maps: we pulled the top 20 Maps results for "plumber," set to Lake Havasu City, AZ, on a desktop computer.
- ChatGPT: we asked once, through a data service (DataForSEO), using the GPT-4o mini model with web search turned on. This is close to, but not the same as, typing into the ChatGPT app.
